W 2011 roku MOCAK zorganizowa\u0142 jego pierwsz\u0105 polsk\u0105 edycj\u0119, w kt\u00f3rej udzia\u0142 wzi\u0119\u0142o 15 tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w. Ich prace zosta\u0142y zaprezentowane na wystawie \u201eNagroda Fundacji Vordemberge-Gildewart\u201d. Spo\u015br\u00f3d nich mi\u0119dzynarodowe jury, powo\u0142ane przez Rad\u0119 Fundacji, wy\u0142oni\u0142o troje laureat\u00f3w: I nagrod\u0119 (20 tysi\u0119cy frank\u00f3w szwajcarskich) otrzyma\u0142a Anna Okrasko, wyr\u00f3\u017cnienia (po 10 tysi\u0119cy frank\u00f3w szwajcarskich) \u2013 R\u00f3\u017ca Litwa i Jan Dziaczkowski.<\/p>\n<p>Po kilku latach stara\u0144 MOCAK zosta\u0142 zaproszony do przygotowania kolejnej edycji konkursu stypendialnego. Aby dokona\u0107 jak najobiektywniejszego wyboru, skierowali\u015bmy pro\u015bb\u0119 o zarekomendowanie najciekawszych m\u0142odych tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w do najwa\u017cniejszych instytucji prezentuj\u0105cych sztuk\u0119 wsp\u00f3\u0142czesn\u0105 w Polsce. By\u0142y to: Galeria Arsena\u0142 w Bia\u0142ymstoku, Galeria Bielska BWA, Galeria Kronika w Bytomiu, Gda\u0144ska Galeria Miejska, BWA Katowice, Bunkier Sztuki w Krakowie, Galeria Labirynt w Lublinie, Muzeum Sztuki w \u0141odzi, Centrum Rze\u017aby Polskiej w Oro\u0144sku, Galeria Arsena\u0142 w Poznaniu, Trafostacja Sztuki w Szczecinie, BWA Tarn\u00f3w, Zach\u0119ta \u2013 Narodowa Galeria Sztuki w Warszawie, Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie, BWA Wroc\u0142aw, Centrum Sztuki WRO we Wroc\u0142awiu i BWA Zielona G\u00f3ra. Do wystawy \u201eNagroda Fundacji Vordemberge-Gildewart 2018\u201d zakwalifikowanych zosta\u0142o 16 artyst\u00f3w. Ich prace wezm\u0105 udzia\u0142 w konkursie, a 27 czerwca 2018 roku mi\u0119dzynarodowe jury powo\u0142ane przez Fundacj\u0119 wy\u0142oni laureat\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>Fundacja Vordemberge-Gildewart rozpocz\u0119\u0142a dzia\u0142alno\u015b\u0107 w 1981 roku zgodnie z ostatnia wol\u0105 Ilse Vordemberge-Ledy, \u017cony Friedricha Vordembergego-Gildewarta, z kt\u00f3rym sp\u0119dzi\u0142a wiele lat. Celem statutowym tej instytucji jest wspieranie artyst\u00f3w, kt\u00f3rzy nie uko\u0144czyli 35. roku \u017cycia. Jury przyznaje wybranemu tw\u00f3rcy nagrod\u0119 wystarczaj\u0105c\u0105 na pokrycie koszt\u00f3w dzia\u0142alno\u015bci artystycznej przez okres oko\u0142o dw\u00f3ch lat. In 2011 MOCAK organised its first Polish edition, with the participation of 15 artists. Their works were presented in the exhibition \u201cAward of the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation\u201d. From amongst them, the international jury, appointed by the Foundation\u2019s Council, selected three winners: the first prize (20 000 Swiss francs) went to Anna Okrasko, and two distinctions (of 10 000 Swiss francs each) \u2013 to R\u00f3\u017ca Litwa and Jan Dziaczkowski.<br \/>\nIn 2018, MOCAK has again been honoured to be invited to present another edition of the grant competition. In order to ensure the most objective selection possible, we have asked the most important institutions that represent contemporary art in Poland to recommend interesting young artists. These institutions are: Arsena\u0142 Gallery in Bia\u0142ystok, BWA Gallery in Bielsko, Kronika Gallery in Bytom, Municipal Gallery in Gda\u0144sk, BWA Katowice, Bunkier Sztuki Gallery in Krakow, Galeria Labirynt in Lublin, Muzeum Sztuki in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Centre of Polish Sculpture in Oro\u0144sko, Arsenal Municipal Gallery in Pozna\u0144, TRAFO Center for Contemporary Art in Szczecin, BWA Tarn\u00f3w, Zach\u0119ta \u2013 National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, BWA Wroc\u0142aw, WRO Art Center in Wroc\u0142aw and BWA Zielona G\u00f3ra. As a result, 16 artists have been selected to take part in the \u201cAward of the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation 2018\u201d exhibition. On 27 June 2018 the international jury appointed by the Foundation will announce the winners.<br \/>\nThe Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation began its activity in 1981 on the initiative of Ilse Vordemberge-Leda. The Foundation continues to fulfil her last will, an outcome of her many years spent with the artist Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart. The statutory aim of the institution is to provide support for artists under 35. The jury grants to the winning artist an award that is sufficient to subsidise his or her artistic activity for approximately two years.
